I'll be honest with you, I'm not a huge Marvel fan. I haven't seen a ton of the movies, although the ones I have seen were pretty good. Superhero movies don't particularly pique my personal interest, apart from the very talented (and usually very attractive) cast. Two of my favourite Marvel actors would have to be Tom Holland and Chris Evans, and as luck would have it, the two will be starring in an upcoming Netflix movie that's NOT about superheroes.
The film is called The Devil All The Time, and is based on a violent, redemption-themed novel by Donald Ray Pollock. The film is about a man who has a very ill wife, and in hopes of saving her, turns to prayer. When things just continue to get worse, the man sacrifices both him and his wife's lives, leaving behind their son, played by Holland.
Holland is left to raise himself, leading him to become a rugged, problematic man. Chris Evans will play the role of the town's sheriff, who is reportedly quite corrupt. Netflix's subsidiary account, @seewhatsnext summed up the plot of the film best in a tweet this morning that said, "a midwestern gothic involving a serial killer couple, a faith-testing preacher, and a corrupt local sheriff in a story told across two decades".

The film also stars Robert Pattinson and Bill Skarsgard, so with a cast this full of talented names, we're anticipating pretty big things. No trailer or premiere date for the film has been released yet, but the Principal photography is said to be taking place next month in Alabama.
