If I remember way back to middle school, one of the most exciting parts of any given day would be when the teacher would tell us we were watching Planet Earth. We spent many science classes oogling over the deep sea or lush forests, and ever since those days, I've always found something about nature documentaries to be so soothing. If you're looking to relive some Planet Earth nostalgia, we've got just the thing for you - Twitter users can't stop crying over this Netflix original series and it's so cute.
The series is called Our Planet, and it hit Netflix today, April 5th. The eight-episode documentary style show covers everything from frozen parts of the world to the many beautiful freshwater systems around us. You can get a sneak peek of what to expect from the show below:
For some reason, nature documentaries can make certain people really emotionally - maybe it's the up close and personal views of all those adorable baby animals, or maybe it's all the guilt settling in from the realization that human beings are the one's destroying the planet. Our Planet may have only dropped a few hours ago, but Twitter users are already talking about how emotional it's made them:

Watching “our planet” on Netflix and it upsets me that us as humans have let the planet continue to deteriorate with global warming effects...to say we are the smartest species we’re really fucking up😔😔— caroline✌🏳️🌈 (@_caroline_19) April 5, 2019
So here you have it if you're in need of a good cry, or you need an extra push of motivation to be more conscious about your environmental impact, Our Planet should be your next Netflix binge - just don't forget the tissues.
