Instead of waiting in the drive-thru for the Whopper sandwich, visit a place fitted for fast food lovers. The Burger Museum is Miami's best food museum with the most delectable nicknacks you will find.
The museum has been open since 2016 and it was built by Sef Gonzalez, also known as the Burger Beast. This museum is a celebration of all things burger and currently, the owner launched a book called 'All about the Burger: A History of America's Favorite Sandwich.' This book will reveal history and facts and you can purchase it in Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or at their website for a signed copy.
Not only will you learn lots of information about burgers and fast-food restaurants at the Burger Museum but you can also spend time playing a vintage BurgerTime arcade machine. Entrance to the museum is just $10 and you get to see over 3000 items on display.
The Burger Museum hosts food events from time to time and they have a candy shop called Candy Landia where guests can get soft serve ice cream, snacks and old school bottled sodas. You can also buy souvenirs such as t-shirts, mugs and ashtrays.
The Burger Museum started when Gonzalez received a Burger Chef sign from a friend. He never heard of that burger chain before so the quest was on. After reading a book about the burger chain, he began searching for more burger items on eBay, Etsy and collectors' sites for any ephemera that he could find.
His massive collection had no more room at his parent's house and office, so he decided to pitch the idea to Magic City Casino, and six months later The Burger Museum was born. Burger Beast recommends his top three burger joints: Bill Hamburger's in Amory, Mississippi, Vicki's Launch Van in Montgomery, Alabama and Charm City Burger Company in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Make a stop at this one-of-a-kind museum during your next road trip. Burger Museum by Burger Beast is located at 450 NW 37th Ave, Miami, FL 33125.
