One thing that drives me absolutely crazy about Netflix is the amount of time we're forced to wait in-between seasons of shows. Sure, every month we get a selection of new shows and movies to watch, but what about the follow-ups to show's that we've already come to love?! You and The Haunting Of Hill House Season 2 will both be scarier than the original seasons.

Perhaps two of the best shows that have made their way onto Netflix in the last year are You and The Haunting of Hill House. Each series is widely loved for very different reasons, although they both have an overarching theme of total creepiness that entices viewers.

The first season of You told the story of Joe, a bookstore manager who had a passion for much more than just reading. When he meets a girl named Beck, Joe is overcome with obsession and finds himself stalking Beck's every last move. We don't want to give too many spoilers away for those who haven't seen it yet, but just know that the show is super eerie.

Showrunner and co-creator of You, Sera Gamble, has said that fans can expect even scarier things out of the upcoming second season. "At least one scene comes to mind that's gorier and scarier than anything we had in season one," Gamble told LADBible.

From what we know so far, the second season will show Joe moving off to LA in hopes of turning over a new leaf and not falling into the horrible traps he has in the past. Of course, things don't go as well as planned when he meets a new girl named Love Quinn, who triggers his obsessive tendencies. We'll have to wait and see what sorts of unique strategies Joe comes up with to win Love over.

If you were brave enough to watch The Haunting of Hill House by yourself, I seriously commend you. The first season had audiences everywhere jumping out of their seats and sleeping with the lights on, so when producer Mike Flanagan announced that the upcoming second season will be "much scarier", we took him seriously.

Although it tells a completely different story, The Haunting of Bly Manor will still feature a lot of the same cast as season one. Flanagan is hoping to make the series into an anthology so that the cast remains the same but each season tells a different story with different characters.

The upcoming season is based on the old novel The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. "For Henry James fans, it's going to be pretty wild, and for people who aren't familiar with his work, it's going to be unbelievably scary. I already think it's much scarier than season one, so I'm very excited about it," Flanagan said.

We don't have an official release date quite yet, but Netflix has confirmed that The Haunting of Bly Manor will be coming in 2020, and it's likely You season 2 should be here by early 2020 as well, if not before.
