If you didn't notice, the beloved donut chain, Dunkin' Donuts just changed their brand in a huge way. Not only did they just announce that they're dropping the "Donuts" from their name, fans of the company are completely confused by the whole ordeal.

Dunkin' Donuts recently announced that they're changing their name to just Dunkin'. Customers in the US and in Canada are distraught over the major change. Clearly, they weren't paying attention with IHOP "changed" their name to IHOB. No one was impressed with the company's rebranding.

It was only a few months ago that IHOP announced that they were changing their name from the International House of Pancakes to the International House Of Burgers. Customers were so upset by the sudden change and flocked to social media to express their displeasure with the announcement.

Shortly after, IHOP announced that it was all a "joke" and a ploy to promote their new burgers. Some customers had doubts about whether or not that was true, but either way, the name change caused quite a stir.

Not only are they changing their name, in addition, the remaining locations throughout Canada are closing down for good. MTLBlog confirmed that the Canadian locations planned to shut down their businesses.

Even though there used to be a ton of locations sprinkled throughout Canada, today, only three locations in Quebec remain.

So, Dunkin' has decided to shut down their shops in Canada and to rebrand their company all in one fail swoop.
