A certain Canadian has been creating a lot of buzz on millennials social media pages recently. Keanu Reeves has had a big year-John Wick, Toy Story 4, and now his meme-worthy cameo in the Netflix film Always Be My Maybe. So it doesn't really come as a surprise that fans are trying to get the Canadian actor some type of award. Fans want Keanu Reeves to be 'Person of the Year'.
They don't want him to be just any 'Person of the Year', they want him to win the category specifically from Time magazine annual awards.
Someone named Jackson Beem, started a Change.org petition last week that's titled, "Make Keanu Reeves 2019 Times Person Of The Year." Where people usually go in depth of why someone should sign their petition, in the description they wrote, "Keanu is the most wholesome person alive, make him the person of the year!"
After surpassing the target goals of 15,000 signatures, the goal was raised to 35,000 and it's only about 2000 signatures away from the next milestone!
It's no surprise that fans would put together this petition, whether it was originally a joke or not, they love him!
One fan even thinks the actor should win another award:
ngl but I think Keanu Reeves should win sexiest man of the year🤷♀️
"We have committed to donating excess doses," Anand responded, before adding that Justin Trudeau and Health Minister Patty Hajdu had spoken on the issue previously.
She said Canada's leading officials are "on the same page in terms of the need to donate excess doses that Canadians aren't using," adding that the feds are "thinking of all of the options relating to any excess doses."
