You Can Go On A Succulent Safari At This Hidden Cactus-Filled Greenhouse Near Orlando

This is the only kind of "succi" day we're down for!
You Can Go On A Succulent Safari At This Hidden Cactus-Filled Greenhouse Near Orlando

If there's one thing we love about succulents, it's how stinkin' cute they are bringing their green joy to our home. We're in the market for a new plant after all, and we may have just found the best spot to get all of your succi-babies. You'll never want to leave the rows of cacti and succulents at Florida Cactus Inc.

This little slice of plant heaven has been in business since 1961, but not many people know it exists. Where has it been all our life? Tucked away on a quiet piece of land near Heiniger Lake in Apopka, apparently!

Multiple greenhouses line the lot at Florida Cactus, but before you pick which greenhouse to wander first, pop into the office to let them know you're there and to get a guide map. Then begins your succulent safari.

The amount of selection you have is massive; you'll see a vast array of shapes, sizes, and colors with different species available depending on the season. You can even head home with a giant cacti boi, and we may just the perfect corner in mind for him in our living room.

Of course, if you want something smaller for your desk or little shelf of joy, they've also got you covered.

The symmetry of the rows is pretty darn pleasing too - you may just want to stop and get the perfect plant-backdropped Insta shot of your walk around Cactus Heaven. Bring babe and make it a cute cheap date day, complete with couples photo goals.

If you're anything like me you'll want to take every single one of them home, after all, you can never have too many plants right? Each pot ranges in price from $1.50 upwards to $150 depending on the size and species you go with; if you stick around the lower end of the price range you could definitely afford to grab a few (or a lot).

In the peak summer months, it does get a little hot - so we recommend grabbing a water and dressing light. Despite the Florida heat, Florida Cactus is definitely worth the spontaneous day trip.
