These Pink Lemonade Jello Shots Will Make Your Summer Sweet AF
How cute are these?!
You were not a child if your summers didn't consist of pink lemonade. That satisfying feeling you got when you got home from a long day of playing outdoors, and you took the first sour and refreshing sip. Mmmm. Being an adult is hard enough, and we need some reminders that we can still have fun like we did as kids. So pink lemonade + vodka + jello = fun.
These jello shots are super easy to make. If you're having a pool day with your friends or a summer get together, you need to make these. Plus, regular jello shots make you feel like you're back in 10th grade when it was your first time drinking. No thank you.
Of course, if you're not a drinker, you can also make these without vodka by adding more pink lemonade or water. It's all about preference! Here is how you make this adorable recipe:
What you'll need:
- 2 packets of unflavoured gelatin
- 1 cup of pink lemonade
- 1/2 cup of regular vodka
- 1/2 cup of lemon vodka
- 5 lemons
Cut the lemons in half and use a spoon to get out the insides. If you have one, a serrated grapefruit spoon would work amazing for this recipe but it's not mandatory. Try to get out every last piece you can!
Grab a pot and heat the lemonade over medium heat and stir the packets of gelatin in until they completely dissolve. Pour the mixture into a bowl and then add in the vodka. Stir until it's all combined.
Make sure you transfer your liquid to a pourable container and then put the lemon halves into a muffin tin. From here, you'll pour the mixture into the lemons until they're half full.
Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.
Now that the mixture has set in the lemons, you can take them out of the tin and cut them into slices.
These pink lemonade jello shots are made for summer. Everyone is bound to love them, and of course, they'll look super adorable on your Instagram. Enjoy!
