Doug Ford Just Shared His 'Best Cherry Cheesecake' Recipe & We're Here For It (VIDEO)

Calling all bakers! Earlier this week, Ontario's premier announced that he makes the best cherry cheesecake around. Now, Ford's cheesecake recipe has been posted on Twitter, so you can try his creation at home.
In a press conference this week, Ford stole the show by announcing that he makes "the best cherry cheesecake ever."
"I do it from scratch, no recipe, I got it down," he boasted.
Since then, Ontario has been awaiting his culinary guidance so that they can be the judges of his creation.
On Friday morning, the premier finally released the full video recipe, which shows him baking in a kitchen while laying out step-by-step instructions on how to make his cake.
Ford remarked during the video that baking is just “one of the fun things you can do” while stuck in self-isolation.
He also stated that if he weren’t premier, he would open up a Cheesecake Factory.
So if you're down for an evening in the kitchen, you can follow Ford's instructions and try the "best cherry cheesecake ever."
The ingredients include whipped cream, cheesecake filling, cherry topping and a crust made out of graham cracker crumbs.
The premier also revealed that the recipe has been handed down throughout his family.
“I learned this recipe off of my mother, years ago, when I was 10-years-old I just had it kind of memorized."
"She made such an awesome cheesecake and she learned the recipe off her sister, my aunt Wendy,” Ford explained during the opening of the video.
At the end of the clip, he reminds Ontarians to “stay safe and stay healthy” while encouraging them to come up with their own baking projects to do while self-isolating.
While Ford may be baking in his free time, he has also been working towards reopening the province over the past few weeks.
On Thursday, he announced that Ontario golf courses, marinas, and campgrounds can officially reopen this weekend.
While this is good news, the state of emergency is still in place until June 2.
