7-Eleven Is Giving Canadians Free Slurpees Next Week But There's A Bizarre Catch

They're making you put in the work for that free Slurpee

You've heard of birthdays and even half-birthdays, but have you ever heard of reverse birthdays? 7-Eleven is celebrating theirs with an odd giveaway. Free 7-Eleven Slurpees can be yours in November but you have to do something bizarre to get one.

7-Eleven is giving away free Slurpees to Canadians across the country for their reverse birthday on November 7 (get it, 11/7?) but to actually get the Slurpee for free you have to go into the store wearing your clothes backwards.

"Fans are encouraged to fully embrace this reverse birthday by going all out, wearing tops on bottom, bottoms on top, hoodies backwards, dresses upside down, you name it. Let your imagination run wild as you push the limits and celebrate 7-Eleven's reverse birthday in a funky, flavourful and backwards style," the company said in a news release.

So if you're not one to pass up a good deal and want that free Slurpee you have to dress backwards. That can mean leaving the house with all of your clothes backwards or changing your clothes around in the car in the 7-Eleven parking lot.

You might be considering this odd stipulation of the free Slurpee deal and we wouldn't blame you.

7-Eleven wants you to switch up your usual Slurpee order and try something new like the Mountain Dew Citrus Slurpee or the Crush Cream Soda Lite Slurpee which has 30 percent fewer calories.

Reverse 7-Eleven Day, as it's being called, is open to people of all ages so long as they're wearing something backwards. So even if you're not willing to go full out and wear your pants backwards, a backwards shirt or sweater will do.

This deal is available at participating 7-Eleven locations across Canada on November 7.

There's a limit of one free Slurpee per customer.
