Do you need free reusable face masks? A Portland company known for their eco-friendly workout gear is giving one to every person in America to stop the spread of COVID-19. Getting one is quick and easy and you don't have to live in Oregon to get yours.
"With your help, we will manufacture and distribute masks to all 327 million American residents, absolutely free, said DHVANI. All masks are paid for by donations.
How can you claim your free mask? Go on their website and fill out a request form. Even shipping is covered.
The questionnaire will ask you for your email address, full name, physical address, and whether or not you are a medical worker or an essential worker.
It's that easy.
In a three-minute video on their website, DHVANI outlined their plan to "put a mask on every American face so we can stop [COVID-19] in its tracks."
They have already donated 10,000 medical-grade face masks to workers in Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. Another 1,000 masks have gone to essential workers in need.
So far, they have raised nearly $90,000 of their $10,000,000 goal.
Their donation-based effort will also give medical grade face masks to health care workers and face coverings to essential workers on the front lines.
"Everyone here at DHVANI is completely blown away by the progress we have made in just a few short days. It simply could not have happened without your help, so thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for your donation."
They went on to say "We are extremely grateful for your support during these challenging times. We will get through this together."
As of April 24 at 8 a.m., there were 2,177 positive cases of COVID-19 in Oregon. The state's stay-at-home order is still in place.
