You Can Take FREE Surf Lessons At This Tropical Spot In South Florida

School season might have started for some but that doesn't mean beach activities are over. You can learn how to surf for free at Beach House Pompano and hang loose like an islander.

Hang Loose Surf School partnered with Beach House Pompano to bring a unique experience to beachgoers and locals. The next free surf class will be offered on Sunday, September 8th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Guests will have the opportunity to ride the waves in style while enjoying one of the most beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean; and no need to worry about bringing a board, they provide you one. 

The surf school offers water safety, ocean awareness, and surfing etiquette. Also, you will probably be riding your first wave on the first lesson. According to Hang Loose Surf School, guests get their money back if they don't get to ride their first wave.

The surf school also offers private and group classes for those wanting to expand their knowledge and learn new tricks.

After riding the waves, you can enjoy a delicious brunch at House Beach Pompano. This place is an ocean-friendly restaurant which means the restaurant avoids plastic use, no plastic bags are offered for takeout and it only uses reusable tableware.

House Beach Pompano serves steaks, seafood and small plates with a comfortable outdoor terrace boasting incredible panoramic views of the ocean.

The rooftop menu offers craft tacos, sushi, beach bites such as tuna poke, beach house clams and more. Summer days are not over and the waves are always returning to the sandy shores of South Florida. So, get ready to learn how to master the waves.

As of Thursday, the City is reporting even more Toronto COVID-19 outbreaks. According to the website, there are currently 22 active outbreaks across the 6ix, with most of them being in community and workplace settings.

The popular JOEY Restaurant in Sherway Gardens is just one of the spots that are reporting an active outbreak. Three cases have been reported and the outbreak was declared on September 10.

Elections Canada is warning Canadians that if they're diagnosed with COVID-19 over the next few days they may not be able to vote in the federal election.

According to one question in their FAQ section — "What if I develop symptoms of COVID-19 or test positive after advance polling days or on election day?" — Canadians with symptoms should not show up to an Elections Canada office or polling station on voting day at all.
