The moment '90s babies have all been waiting for is finally here. A Friends reunion special is coming to HBO Max and we just can’t wait to watch our favourite friend group on TV once more. The infamous six friends include Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry, each of whom has agreed to take part in the reunion special, says E! News.

Matthew Perry, the Canadian star who played Chandler Bing on the show, made a sly announcement on Instagram just now with a photo of the six actors and the caption “It’s happening.....” he then tagged each of his former (and future) co-stars along with HBO Max.

Though this isn’t the reboot we may have been hoping for, we’ll absolutely take what we can get. E! News goes on to explain that this will be an unscripted special where the group discusses the good old days on the set of Friends.

It will even be taped on the show’s original stage on the Warner Brothers lot.

The reunion special will be available in May 2020 on HBO Max along with all the episodes of the fan-favourite TV show.

Could we be any more excited?

If you love this show as much as we do, you should probably mark your calendar for the drop date in May.

Not only do we get to binge all the episodes once more, but we'll also get the chance to feel all the feels watching the cast talk about their experiences with the show.

If you've ever seen a blooper reel or interview with the cast members, you know it was an absolute blast on set.

The gang is getting back together and we're in full support.
