The perfect camping experience.
You Can Glamp In Safari-Like Tents In The Middle Of These Tennessee Mountains

The holidays are many people's favorite time of year for obvious reasons. For others, this time of year is VERY stressful. You're having to deal with out-of-town family asking you a million questions, hugging random people your parents are friends with and rushing around making sure you have all the gifts you need for your loved ones. Taking time to yourself is important and you can do that by glamping in the Great Smoky Mountains

The Great Smoky Mountains Glamping Resort & Lodging has taken glamping to a whole new level. This kind of glamping is seen as luxurious and one of the best places to stay if you're visiting the park. This is an actual outdoor resort that has safari-like tents that will cater to all your needs.

Even though you will be secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city and roads, you still won't be too far away from the tourist attractions and Gatlinburg. The resort is only open from April 4 to Dec. 2 in 2019. For 2020, you can start booking on April 2 until Nov. 30.

If you're not a fan of camping but want to experience the outdoors and waking up to birds chirping and the cool air, this is the perfect destination for you. There are six different tent experiences you can choose from, depending on your group and your needs.

Three of the six tents have king-sized beds and even ensuite bathrooms so you don't have to use the communal bathrooms on site. These tents even come with a private deck where you can stargaze at night.

The other three tents are more of a basic style "safari-tent" with a king-sized bed and wood-burning stoves to keep you warm throughout the night.

There is absolutely no WiFi at this campsite, which is usually a great thing. Instead of having WiFi, the site offers alternative things to do so you can bond with whoever you're traveling with and even other people staying in the area.

There are tons of board games that will make you feel like a kid again and even free yoga every morning so you can really get relaxed. Sometimes there's even live music from local performers so you can have some background music while you're making s'mores around the fire pit.

You won't even have to leave this outdoor resort to go eat. There's a restaurant right on site that offers healthy breakfast and dinner options, so you can be one with nature all weekend without leaving.
