It's not news to anyone that there are members of the royal family that aren't the biggest fans of Megan Markle, considering Princess Michael's blunder earlier this month with her racist brooch. Though if you thought that British politicians and their families would know better than to bad mouth the monarchy, turns out they definitely do not.
Henry Bolton, a British politician, was suspended immediately after his girlfriend, Jo Marney's conversation with a friend got released including some insanely racist and offensive remarks. The text messages were leaked to the Daily Mail on Sunday morning and included texts saying that Prince Harry's new "black American" fiancé would "taint" the royal family with "her seed" and pave the way for a "black king."
Marney also went on to describe Markle as a "dumb little commoner" and "dumb little 'actress' that no one had heard of" with a "tiny brain" that was "obsessed with race." When the person Marney had been texting called her a racist, she responded with, "lol so what. Not wanting other races and cultures to invade your own culture doesn't mean I hate their race. Just means I don't want their cultures invading mine."
Once the story had broken, Marney was immediately suspended from the Independent Party and has since issued an apology. Though due to the scrutiny Henrey Bolton has already faced for seeing Marney in the first place, who is 29 years his junior, he will be meeting with Ukip next weekend to determine his own future with the party.
