Just Google it! These Canadian celebrity Google searches are bizarrely hilarious. You might even learn a thing or two about your favourite stars.

Nowadays, your go-to line is probably something like "I don't know, Google it." That can take you down the deepest rabbit hole of interesting but strange findings you never knew you needed the answer to.

One of the most common searches is people asking if various celebrities are left-handed! Eugene Levy, Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling, and Seth Rogen are among the celebs that people have asked about their dominant hand.

There are also quite a few individuals checking in on their fave Canadians to make sure they're alive. Yes, you read that right. One of the top searches for celebs including Justin Bieber, Mike Meyers, and even Celine Dion is questioning whether they're still kicking.

Whatever the reason people have for these confusing Google searches, we can at least use them to have a laugh during these trying times.

Ryan Gosling & Justin Bieber

If you didn't know this, well now you know. According to the common Google search "is ryan gosling and justin bieber related", there were actually reports back in September 2019 that the two are very distant cousins.

The top result is iHeartRadio's story which claims that Gosling is Bieber's eleventh cousin once removed. It even adds that Avril Lavigne is Bieb's twelfth cousin.

Jim Carrey

The Newmarket born actor stayed out of the limelight for quite some time, prompting people to apparently worry about his wellbeing. Many were wondering if he was sick, with some Googling "jim carrey is he alive", which is an interesting way of asking. Luckily, he is alive and recently came back with a role as his iconically hilarious self in Sonic the Hedgehog.

Ryan Reynolds

One of these things just doesn't belong here...and it's probably the question asking "ryan reynolds is korean". Or maybe it's more of a statement? Either way, that Google search likely has to do with his appearance on a Korean singing show where he was dressed as a unicorn back in 2018, per The Verge.

Seth Rogen

You probably weren't Googling "seth rogen is my eskimo brother", at least we hope not. But that absurd search is likely because of a 2019 song by Haarper called "Seth Rogen Is My Eskimo Brother".

Rachel McAdams

Some keen-eyed fans have apparently asked the search engine, "does rachel mcadams have a mole on her face". According to Cafe Mom, the actress "has several moles on her face and neck, and she's never considered them an impediment." So, there's the answer to a question you never knew people were asking.

Matthew Perry

More keen-eyed fans have a question for their fave Friends star by asking, "did matthew perry get fake teeth". That's also followed by a related search that reads "why does chandler teeth look different in season 7". That bizarre change people noticed might have something to do with the sobriety challenges he faced while filming the series.

Shawn Mendes

Okay, there are two here that totally have us giggling. Shout out to the people who actually asked "is shawn mendes a jonas brother", considering his last name is Mendes and he's a Canadian who's not at all part of the Jonas family.

But the very last one, "is shawn mendes a marshmallow", really has us scratching our heads. Teen Vogue reported that at the 2018 MMVA's, the Pickering born singer revealed that he was wearing DJ Marshmello's mask which got people blazing with conspiracy theories. So that's probably better than people thinking he's the inside of a s'mores sandwich.

Drake

You're probably wondering what on earth sparked people to Google "drake is music's martin scorsese". It's a pretty bold claim considering Scorsese is one of the most influential film directors. But apparently there are some people who firmly believe that Drake is one of the biggest music makers in the industry.
