A person has many milestone birthdays in their life that call for a big celebration, and it looks like Chelsea Handler’s Whistler trip was how she celebrated one of hers. The American comedian is currently in beautiful British Columbia hitting the slopes to commemorate turning 45.

Just this afternoon, Handler took to her Instagram page to post a video of her skiing down a mountain filled with snow — without pants, as only Chelsea Handler would.

“Skiing into 45 with my margarita, my marijuana, and my mountain! #whoneedspants #birthdaysuit video credit @kellyskiing #extremelycanadian #skibum,” she captioned the hilarious post.

The comedian also included a photoset of her rocking her skis, an orange winter jacket, and a cozy hotel robe with a drink in her hand.

As if all of that wasn’t enough, Handler posted several photos from her birthday excursion to her Instagram story, tagging @vipmountainholidays, a service that provides luxury holidays for people in Whistler, British Columbia.

“This is the service you get at @vipmountainholidays. They watch you eat lunch,” she captioned her IG story.

Handler’s story concludes with a video, recorded by a friend, of her singing “Happy Birthday” to herself while riding pantsless on the chair lift through the mountains.

Based on her Instagram, the 45-year-old is no stranger to the mountains of Canada. She visits frequently to ski with her friend, and regularly documents the trips on social media.

“I love the snow and the ski and the cold and @katefeeners @monikablundermakeup,” Handler captioned a photo taken in Whistler back in December of 2018.

When she’s not hitting the slopes, Handler regularly takes her comedy routine on tour. She has a few dates coming up in the next few months with stops in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Las Vegas.

If you can’t make it to one of her hilarious shows, you can always check out her shows Chelsea, Chelsea Does, and Hello Privilege, It’s Me, Chelsea on Netflix.
