Nothing says love like tattoos and “I do’s.”
Nothing says love like tattoos and “I do’s.” Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey recently opened up about the timeline of their relationship after their roles on Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle. Not only did they mark their love with matching ink but they also confirmed a wedding may be in their future.
The wild Netflix series saw these two, amongst other contestants, secluded on an island in search of love and a grand prize of $100,000. However, that prize money was put at risk every time contestants engaged in any sexual contact.
Both Farago and Jowsey left the show hand-in-hand after much rule-breaking, talks of being in love, and plans to move in together.
Almost a year since the filming of the series, it was unclear what became of the couple, until Farago confirmed their relationship status with theearlier this week. They’re official!
Following their reveal, the two opened up even further to ET.
It wasn’t always smooth sailing for the couple. After Too Hot To Handle Jowsey admits their relationship went on a “roller coaster”, “We actually broke up for a few months. We took a break, and then a few months ago, I got drunk in L.A. and texted her that I wanted to FaceTime her dog. I was like, 'Hey, I don't want to talk to you, can I just talk to your puppy?' So at that point, we just started talking."
Although they dated different people during their time apart, they couldn’t shake the feelings they had for one another with Farago confessing "I love him so much. It's actually crazy to think about, because the circumstances that we met are unlike any other. I think we are going to be connected for life.”
With Farago in Vancouver and Jowsey in Los Angeles, the couple is trying to keep the momentum going while the quarantine protocols remain in place.
Their time apart has solidified that they’re both looking forward to a future that involves both wedding bells and kids, “once this quarantine is over, we are going to move in together and it's going to be amazing and magical. We are going to get married and have kids!" said Farago.
They’re so committed that Jowsey revealed the prize money he was awarded on the reality series was going to be used to propose to Farago in Paris, "I was going to surprise her and propose.”
While it might be a while until the two lovebirds can reunite, they do have one thing that’s keeping them together. During one of their post-show visits in Canada, the two got matching tattoos.
The tiny lighting bolt on their index finger is a reminder to “stay positive” and is actually a painting Farago drew during one of the challenges on the series.
Season one of Too Hot To Handle is currently available to binge-watch on Netflix.
