Straight outta the airport! Ice Cube is in Toronto filming a new feature film, but his journey to the city was apparently anything but smooth sailing. The ‘90s rap icon ran into some trouble when it came to claiming his baggage after landing.

TSN feature producer Matt Dunn happened to be at the scene this past Sunday when it all went down. He even managed to get a photo with the celeb while dealing with the airport delays.

In a Twitter post, he shared the selfie that featured the actor dressed in a casual black t-shirt, a black Raiders cap and a black pair of sunglasses in the baggage claim area.

He explained the dilemma they had been facing in the tweet, writing the pair had been waiting “90 minutes at baggage claim” and that while it’s one thing to have Dunn wait he’ll “be damned if you make @icecube wait 90 minutes without an apology.”

In good Canadian nature, the official Toronto Pearson Airport Twitter account did reach out beneath the tweet, replying that they were “sorry to hear” that they had been waiting for so long, but assured him "that @AirCanada ground staff is doing their best to get [their] bags quickly."

Ice Cube has yet to comment on the ordeal himself.

According to Toronto’s official website, filming for his new Movie, Flint Strong, is set to start production March 16 with a wrap date of May 1. The film will follow the real-life events of Michigan boxer Claressa Shields.

Ice Cube isn’t the only celeb set to be visiting the city this month. A-listers like Jason Momoa, Elisabeth Moss, and Bradley Cooper are all scheduled to be shooting in the 6ix.
