Universally speaking, I would say that one of the best feelings in the world has got to be when one of your favourite artists releases new music. New albums always mean new songs for you to sing along to in your car or shower, and they also almost always mean that a tour is coming too. If you live in the U.S., you don't really have to worry about finding a tour date close to you a lot of the time, but if you live in Canada, there's usually a very limited option of shows that you can attend. Lana Del Rey's Vancouver concert ended much earlier than fans were hoping.

When I heard that Lana Del Rey was planning on releasing a  new album, I was seriously excited. She's a singer that I've loved since middle school, and it's always been on my bucket list to see her live. Shortly after Norman F*cking Rockwell was released, Del Rey also announced that she would be going on tour, although the dates and locations she included definitely weren't accessible to a large chunk of her fanbase, unless you happen to live on North America's west coast, that is.

The tour kicked off in New York on September 21, and after just one show on the east coast, Del Rey headed back west where she performed at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver last night.

Doors for the show opened at 8 p.m., and usually, an opening act would grace the stage before the main show, but Del Rey chose not to take anyone along with her on the Norman F*cking Rockwell tour. It seems as though the audience absolutely loved her performance, they just wish it would've lasted a lot longer.

"Ok i'll say it, @LanaDelRey should have stayed a lil longer for her Vancouver concert bc she only rolls [there] every 3 years or so," one disappointed audience member tweeted. "Agreed! She started at 9pm and finished around 10pm.. she could have stayed till atleast 11pm.. that was the shortest concert ever! It didn't help she didn't have an opening act," another replied.

Considering that Del Rey has six studio albums under her belt, it is quite surprising that she ended her concert so early, but what fans did get to see was sincerely amazing and unforgettable.

The American singer has upcoming shows in Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Berkley, Hollywood, and San Diego before she hops across the pond to the Norman F*cking Rockwell tour to the U.K. You can purchase tickets to her shows at this link
