You may not even realize it, but there's actually a ton of filming for some of your favourite movies and TV shows that goes down here in Canada. From the mountains of Alberta to the big city of Toronto, our country has a lot to offer the film industry! Neil Patrick Harris spotted in Montreal hanging out (PHOTO).
It's not all that uncommon for big-time celebs to spend time in Montreal - Kevin Hart was in the city just last week for the filming of his new movie, Fatherhood. As it turns out, NPH is also in town for filming, but his project is, "a biopic of 1970s record producer Neil Bogart, co-founder of Casablanca Records."
Although there's no doubt he'll be busy with filming, Harris is still taking the time to revel in the beauty of Montreal. Just yesterday, July 10th, Harris and friends went for a meal at Park Restaurant in Westmount.
Famous local chef, Antonio Park welcomed him back to the city with a kind Instagram post captioned, "Happy to see my buddy @nph back home✌🏼! Pleasure to meet you Steven Strait, @samnelsonharris_xa & welcome to the best city in the world, Montreal 😁#montreal #spinninggold #kiss".
A lot of people are familiar with Harris for his former roles in Doogie Howser, M.D., How I Met Your Mother, and Glee. Besides being huge fans of his acting, a lot of people have come to love him for his adorable family that he regularly shows off on Instagram as well, consisting of his husband, David Burtka, and their two children, Harper and Gideon.
Spinning Gold's pre-production is scheduled to wrap up sometime in the fall of 2019. Other major cast members who you might be lucky enough to spot hanging out around the city of Montreal include Samuel L. Jackson and Jay Pharoah, although they haven't been spotted yet.
