They may be best friends, but Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's feud sure has been going on for a long time. Whether they're posting photoshopped pictures or sending out hilarious birthday greetings, these two pals definitely know how to have fun with one another.

Yesterday, Jackman took to Instagram to share a poster advertising Reynolds' upcoming movie, Free Guy. This may seem like a nice gesture, but the photo was actually edited so that Jackman's face was on it, and not the actual star.

Funnily enough, Jackman didn't even do the photoshopping himself — the photo was edited by a fan who's clearly very aware of the online "drama" it would cause if either Reynolds or Jackman came upon it.

The Australian actor posted the photo, saying, "A small edit to make this a much better promotional tool. Thank you @karthik_nj #repost," to which Reynolds replied, "What the sh**?!?".

The photo already has nearly one million likes, and the artist behind the image has begun making other Free Guy edits, including one of Reynolds' other best friend, Jake Gyllenhaal, photoshopped onto the movie's poster.

He also got extra creative to combine Reynolds' Aviation Gin brand with Jackman's hit film The Greatest Showman for yet another poster.

Clearly, Reynolds and co. have a lot of material to work with next time they're in the mood to do some internet trolling.

As if all this wasn't enough, Reynolds clapped back at Jackman during his appearance on Australia's Today Show yesterday.

The actor was promoting his upcoming film 6 Underground when he called out Jackman for being a "fake Australian."

"You think he is this benevolent ambassador from your country, people don’t realize he is from Winnipeg, Canada. The truth makes your eyes water. Hugh Jackman is a fraud," Reynolds joked.

No matter what these two say about one another, there's no denying that they have one of the best friendships of all time.
