It's never been in question whether or not Shay Mitchell was an actual badass but now that she has a newborn on her hands it's even more obvious. The Canadian, entrepreneur, actress, and now mom is totally killing life right now and we're so glad she's sharing her experiences with us. Shay Mitchell's baby girl isn't stopping her from doing anything.

It's been just over a week since Mitchell announced the birth of her first child, with a super emotionally intense YouTube video, and an adorable Instagram picture. In that week it looks like Mitchell's all ready to get back to work. Today on her Instagram stories she shared with us a little bit of what her new office looks like.

The video of her new office starts off with a glimpse of her bundle of joy in a bassinet and then pans over her bed to her open laptop and scattered papers. In the video she introduces, "Oh welcome to my office... yup slash my bed."

Working from bed does sound amazing, but with the added stress of a newborn, that can't be easy. She definitely deserves a standing ovation.

For the most part, the Canadian actress has been wrapped up in well wishes and congratulations, but she has received a few complaints from the mom-splaining community.

Just a few days ago Mitchell was shamed for attending Drake's birthday just days after her daughter was born. Maybe she just needed a little break? She was just in a 33-hour long labour after carrying a baby for nine months.

Breaking societal norms is also totally on-brand for Mitchell, after all, she is documenting the very real journey of becoming a parent in the spotlight on her YouTube channel. That's something that a lot of celebs struggle with and is usually swept under the rug.

We can't for more updates on this little Canadian family, and for more of Shay Mitchell's kick-ass lifestyle.
