With the recent news that Prince Harry and Meghan are stepping back from their royal duties and moving to North America, Canadians are getting excited. Many people can't help but speculate that they are moving to our northern country, especially after they spent Christmas in Vancouver. Tim Hortons is getting in on the excitement by offering the couple free coffee for life.

In a tweet yesterday, the chain, which has almost 4,000 locations across the country, said "No pressure, Meghan and Harry, but if you do choose to move to Canada, free coffee for life. Think about it."

While the royals never said that they were trying to choose somewhere to live or whether Canada was truly an option, they did keep things vague in an Instagram post saying they would be moving to North America.

Their announcement said that they "plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages."

Considering Canada is in North America and also part of the Commonwealth, it's not impossible that they are referring to this country in their cryptic caption.

To help this country in the only way they know how, Tim Hortons has stepped up to suggest that should the royals move here, they would never have to go without caffeine.

I wonder if Prince Harry likes a double-double?

Many people might think that the Royal Family can easily afford coffee every day, especially from Tims, which tends to be on the lower end of the price spectrum.

However, in their post yesterday, Prince Harry and Meghan also shared that they are going to "work to become financially independent."

It's not clear yet what this work will be, but some free coffee might help ease the transition.

This post from the palace follows an eight-week vacation on Vancouver Island, where Meghan, Harry and their baby Archie spent Christmas and New Year's.

They even helped a couple with a selfie stick. They're acting Canadian already!
