Azealia Banks is known for being in the spotlight. Whether it's for new music or for the latest feud, Banks rarely steps down from a fight, especially when it is in the public eye.

In the last year, she was known to have started Twitter beef with over 10 celebrities, including Cardi B, Pharrell, and Nicki Minaj. Now her latest beef has got the celebrity crowdfunding $100,000 to sue Russell Crowe, an Academy Award-winning actor.

While Banks is currently aiming to sue Crowe, what inspired her to do so was an incident that occurred in October 2016. Banks was not invited but attended Crowes party with rapper and producer RZA.

Allegedly when Banks was at the dinner party she began to threaten Crowe and other guests, she also was ready to throw her glass. Crowe allegedly picked up Banks and removed her from the room.

This is where Banks is claiming Crowe spit on her, choked her, and also called her the N-word. RZA originally denied these allegations, but a year later confirmed that they were true. While Banks did file a battery report, the police declined to prosecute Crowe.

Now two years later, Banks has set up a GoFundMe to sue the actor, claiming that this isn't a payout for her, but an opportunity to achieve justice for black women in Hollywood.

Banks said in the description of the page, "Crowe called me a n***er, choked me, and spat on me... if I were a white singer he wouldn’t have even thought about laying a finger on me. So many things like this happen in the entertainment industry and it’s time that ALL these perpetrators get reprimanded so they STOP this violent behaviour!!"

So far Banks has raised just over $1,000 of her intended amount. While it's unclear where the reality lies in this situation, we hope that the truth of this story is found soon.
