Demi Lovato may be super indifferent as to whether or not she was also in love with Nick Jonas (her new hit Ruin The Friendship is a massive subtweet to the youngest JoBro) but she's definitely not shy at talking about ex-boyfriend and mega-crush, Joe Jonas. If you were a girl growing up in the early 00's, you too probably had a crush on Joe. The dreamy, lead singer of the most popular boyband post-Backstreet Boys and pre-One Direction.
Demi Lovato met Joe Jonas when the two starred opposite each other in the Disney smash hit, Camp Rock. Camp Rock had all the components of a successful Disney rom-com. Singing, dancing, a bitchy blonde girl and a Cinderella-esque "I have to find the girl with that voice" element. It was destined to be a hit, even before the uber dreamy Jonas brothers signed on to star in it.
Demi recently filmed a Youtube video for her own channel, titled "Demi Reacts to Demi" which features the young star reacting to clips from her past, including an incredible pageant career and of course, Camp Rock. When the Camp Rock footage started, one of Demi's friends chimed, "Did you have a crush on [Joe] the whole time?" which Demi replied, "Oh yeah."
Upon further watching Demi gasps at an early scene, where the two sit down and play guitar, revealing, "Oh my god. This is where I fell in love with him." Mind you, this is still in Camp Rock 1. Demi wouldn't date Joe until Camp Rock 2, where the two would share their first kiss on screen. Watch the clip above to get second-hand feels.
