The Royal Family Just Cleared Up The Rumours About Meghan Markle's Parents Attending The Royal Wedding
They will be in the wedding.
There has been a lot of speculation whether or not Meghan Markle's parents will be included in the Royal Wedding festivities. We can finally put those rumours to rest, following an official statement from Prince Harry's Communications Secretary.
Meghan's brothers and sisters have been up in arms because they haven't received invitations to the wedding, which made us wonder if her parents would even be invited. But, it looks like they are!
On Friday, a statement was released stating that Meghan's parents, Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland would be an important role in the wedding.
"Prince Harry and Ms. Markle are very much looking forward to welcoming Ms. Markle's parents to Windsor for the wedding. Mr. Thomas Markle and Ms. Doria Ragland will be arriving in the UK in the week of the wedding, allowing time for Prince Harry's family, including The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, to spend time with them before the big day."
Wow, that sounds like a lot of pressure, if you'd ask me. But alas, Meghan's parents will definitely get the royal treatment and get to rub shoulders with UK's finest.
It's also noted that on the wedding day, Meghan's mom will travel with Meghan in the car to Windsor Castle and Meghan's dad will walk her down the aisle.
Now we finally know that Meghan's parents will actually be included in the royal event.
