It's the beginning of a new year and Canadian rapper, Drake decided to go on a full out rant on January 1 to motivate his fans to achieve their new year's resolutions. Drake wants to inspire all of his fans to go outside and start working on their goals for the year.
It's the start of another new year, which means that Canadians across the country are declaring their goals and new year's resolutions for 2019. While many set inspiring goals and say they're going to achieve them as soon as possible, most people never actually finish their resolution by the end of the year.
Drake decided that he wasn't going to wait until January 2 or January 3 to get started on his goals for 2019. He went straight to the gym and started working on his resolutions, as cliche as they may be.
Even though Drake is like every other Canadian out there, hoping to get into the gym more and work on their fitness as their typical resolution, Drake actually went out and started accomplishing his goal on the first day of the new year.
While working on his resolution, Drake recorded himself from the gym motivating others to go outside and start working on their new year's goals.
Here's what he said during his rant, "Look, I'm gonna let you know, all that resolution stuff is great, all that mental talk to yourself is great, but what you gotta do on the first, you gotta get up, you gotta go actually do it. you know what I'm saying, that's the difference."
After panning the video to his friend and trainer in the gym, he continued, "So, I linked with my man and we're in here getting it done. You know what time it is, it's January 1st. The first opportunity to do all those things you told yourself you were going to do. Go get it."
The resolution rant was shared by the popular and private Toronto Instagram account @6ixbuzztv only an hour ago. In the video, you can see Drake and someone who appears to be his trainer talking directly to the camera inside of a training gym. It looks like Drake is keeping up his goals from last year and that's to take boxing and training seriously.
Drake made fans well aware that he was training in the gym and practicing boxing nonstop last year. It was hard to miss considering Drake posted numerous shirtless selfies last year showcasing his new fit body.
