We all know and love our uber talented Canadian rapper, Drake. He's been putting out banger after banger for years now, always keeping his fans on their toes and wondering what's coming next, and if his new album could even possibly be better than the last.
Imagine though, if you will, a world where Drake never became a rapper, but instead, was the man you turned to when you wanted to fight a speeding ticket, or get a restraining order against your crazy ex?!
As it turns out, Drake's dad, who we also all love, recently admitted in an interview on the Red Pill Podcast that he didn't want his son to become a rapper at all. Rather, he had high hopes that Drake would pursue a career as a lawyer!
Dennis Graham says that his reasoning for pushing law was to ensure his son would have enough money in life. Well Dennis, I don't think you'll have to worry about that, because Drake seems to be doing just fine as a rapper.
Funnily enough, Dennis himself is a musician, and actually put out a single back in 2017 called 'Kinda Crazy'. When the song didn't blow up the way he wanted it to, Dennis took to IG to say:
"I will be deleting my so called friends on Instagram who hasn't purchased my 1.29 Kinda Crazy single how cheap can friends be have a nice life!!!!!!! as of midnight you will be a faded memory."
The post has since been deleted, but the whole thing is pretty hilarious. Who knows, maybe when Drake retires from rapping he'll start hitting the books and be our next favourite attorney at law?!
