As you’ve most likely heard by now last week former Smallville star Allison Mack was arrested by the FBI for allegedly taking part in a sex cult. This news came as quite a shock to fans of the show.
Yesterday the actress posted bail of $5 million, allowing her to be released.
As part of the conditions of her bail the actress wasn’t allowed to return to her own house however. She’s now living with her parents.
As part of her bail conditions while she is living with her parents she is not allowed to use a cell phone or the internet.
She is also not allowed to have any contact whatsoever with any members of the sex cult she is alleged to have taken part in, known as Nxivm. She will also not be allowed to leave her parents house for any reason except to meet with her lawyers or for court appearances.
As a result of her arrest she is now facing charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy for incidents that allegedly took place between February 2016 and June 2017. She has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.
If she is found guilty of the crimes she is charged with the actress could face as much as 15 years in prison.
Mack will be staying to with her parents until at least her next appearance in a courtroom, which will be on May 3.
