Regardless of the heat that Justin Timberlake, 37, has been put under since the beginning of this year at the Golden Globes up until the Super Bowl just last week, there's not deny that he and his wife Jessica Biel, 35, prove to be an adorable couple and prove to be even better parents.
Their son Silas Randall Timberlake is only three-years-old, but he is already being taught the importance of gender equality and how to respect women.
At L.A.'s 2018 Makers Conference, Biel told Bustle, "All the time I talk to [Silas] about, ‘You can’t speak to me that way. You’re being very disrespectful. And I’m not disrespecting you, I’m asking you…'"
"We have these kinds of conversations. He’s only three. But you know what? He’s gonna hear these words, and [kids] run all over you if you don’t stop and put a limit and a boundary around things," Biel adds. "I’m not overly aggressive with him — I just say, ‘You don’t speak to me that way, that is totally disrespectful and that is not appropriate and we don’t roll like that in this house.'"
The actress adds that she feels the way grown men act towards women has a lot to do with how their relationship was with their mother. "If young men respect their mothers, and their mothers put boundaries, that changes who they are when they become older. You have to do it super early on," she says.
In the midst of the Time's Up and #MeToo movements, Biel has expressed that teaching her son about gender equality has become of utmost importance and wants her son to grow up with these values ingrained in him.
Wait to go JT and JB for being absolute parent goals 🙌.
