Kanye West quietly performed an act of kindness this past week without any major media outlets knowing. Kanye is famously elusive and incredibly hard to reach seeing as he has no social media yet somehow was contacted by a family in New York. Their daughter, a pre-teen with cancer, was a huge Kanye West fan and had little time to live. As soon as word reached Kanye, he jumped at the chance to connect.
Kanye and the pre-teen were able to FaceTime. The two chatted and West even performed 'I Love Kanye' - one of the girl's favourite songs. The girl was overjoyed with the experience and passed away all but a few days later. The story didn't break until a Twitter user (@stalkdebbie) revealed what had happened between Kanye and the fan.
This girl in my town had cancer and Kanye called her a couple days ago to rap for her. I think Kim was there too. Wasn’t even blasted on social media or anything. She passed yesterday. I have so much respect for him tho. Making her happy in her last moments.— debbie (@stalkdebbie) January 3, 2018
Kim Kardashian herself quote tweeted the user to verify that the events happened and added, "We're praying for her family." The star was extremely empathetic considering she has children of her own with West and recently went through a bit of a health scare with baby Saint.
