Everyone has struggled with acne at least once in their life. And if you haven't, you're one of the lucky ones. In Hollywood, imperfections are seldom seen and rarely talked about. Many celebs rock porcelain complexions, looking both pore-less, perfect and acne-free. Kendall Jenner on the other hand, is a different story.
Kendall struggled with acne ever since she was a teen. The star used to have serious cystic acne all over her face, which she admits really effected her confidence. "Where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it. It completely ruined my self esteem. I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face. Sure, I had crushes in high school, but I wouldn’t even think about looking at guys.”Kendall revealed on her app, earlier in 2017.
The supermodel has since worked with a dermatologist to come up with an acne-fighting routine but admits that her mindset is what really helps her with breakouts now. "I want everyone to understand is that it’s been a process: It wasn’t anything that happened overnight. But slowly, I’m working towards not caring, and I’m just in so much of a better place about it all now that I’m older.”
And when she does get serious breakouts? Kendall doesn't let that stop her from living her life. She strutted her stuff beautifully on the Golden Globes red carpet despite some serious pimples. One of her fans was super stoked Kendall didn't let the skin issues bother her and praised her for it on Twitter.
Waaaay too many people are self conscious about their skin - I know I've cancelled dates because of pimples! Meanwhile, Ken's out here rocking acne on one of the biggest red carpets in the WORLD. Kendall responded to the fan saying:
never let that shit stop you! 😎✨ https://t.co/uXlqwJxTPf— Kendall (@KendallJenner) January 8, 2018
