The day all of us pop culture junkies have been waiting for is finally here - the Kardashian-West clan has officially expanded to six. There have been rumours swirling over the past few weeks (especially when she tweeted THAT photo of her messages with Kanye) that the family's surrogate may have already given birth, but Kim was quick to shut them down. The suspense is now over, as Kim Kardashian & Kanye West said hello to baby number four this afternoon.
Kim took to Twitter to announce the arrival of their new son, simply tweeting, "He's here and he's perfect!". This is the couple's fourth child, and the second by surrogate due to Kim's prior difficult pregnancies with eldest children North and Saint West.
Kim has yet to reveal the baby's name, although that's the information that has fans most excited. The couple has a reputation for choosing eccentric names, and even leaving out middle names for their kids, so it'll be interesting to see who (or where) baby number four is named after. All Kim has revealed so far about the baby is that he looks just like big sister Chicago.
The family's surrogate went into labour on Thursday, according to big sister Kourtney Kardashian, who spilled the tea on The Ellen Degeneres Show this morning. Kris Jenner was also on the show, but she had no idea about the big news so the sisters took the opportunity to surprise her and announce the news.
Kourtney brought out six of Kris' other grandkids as part of the surprise, then announced, "My mom doesn't even know this, but Kim's surrogate went into labour so she's at the hospital." Kris' reaction was priceless, and she insisted that she and Ellen had to head to the hospital ASAP.
The couple announced the new pregnancy back in January, and Kim has always been open about her desire to have a big family, much like the one she grew up in. Although her health issues have made it more difficult than expected, she and Kanye have been able to live their dreams through surrogacy.
