Taylor Swift has been shaking up headlines the past couple days, teasing the release of her new album "Reputation." While we've been closely covering all the details awaiting the release - we have been able to piece together some idea as to what's going on.
Taylor released 3 Instagrams before she dropped the title of her album - and you better believe they were crafted care-full-y. The big tease? 3 videos that compiled a big, hissing snake. The exact thing Kim called Taylor back when the country star tried to play victim against Kanye West's "Famous."
Taylor claimed she had never heard or approved Ye's controversial line - "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous." She also used the moment as an opportunity to speak out against Kanye, even though he not only sent her a cube of white roses (the most thoughtful & classically Ye gift, might I add) but called her to make sure she was okay with the line!!
Wait it's legit National Snake Day?!?!?They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days! 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍— Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) July 17, 2016
Kim clearly was #nothavingit and decided to spill scaling tea on Taylor by releasing video and audio of Taylor approving the line and thanking Kanye, to which millions of people began flooding her feeds with snake emojis. Kim also pointed out that she was not spilling tea to ruin reputations, but to save her husband's. She was just getting real with the facts and one, Taylor Swift, could not deal with it.
It has truly taken a full calendar year for Taylor to recover and apparently attempt to take back the snake emoji for herself. Ever since Swift's resurgence, her fans have been using the snake emoji like CRAZY - spamming the hell out of Kim K's Twitter, but her Instagram? Weirdly snake free...
When Instagram was asked how this could be possible, they revealed that Kim blocked the snake emoji from her comments - a feature that was created, ironically enough, for TAYLOR SWIFT, after the snake-emoji flash flood of 2016. Hm, very interesting if you ask me. Kim's definitely annoyed but is she scared?
Taylor is the queen of revenge tracks and apparently this new one is unlike 'anything she's ever released before.' Sources say, 'it goes hard,' but what does that even mean in regards to a Taylor Swift song?! If it were me, I'd be contouring with a little less confidence. God save Kim K.
