Uh oh. Madonna just woke up the Beehive with her latest Instagram post.
Last week, Beyonce and Jay Z released a surprise album entitled "Everything Is Love", along with that, they released a music video called "APESH*T". The music video takes place in the Louvre and the images of Beyonce and Jay-Z in the museum have gone viral.
For some reason, Madonna thought this would be a good time to make a shady joke at the Carters, but she didn't realize she would be starting a race war in the comments sections.
Madonna uploaded this photo of a couple that looks like Beyonce and Jay-Z standing in a museum filled with art of Madonna. At first, it looks innocent, it just looks like their admiring her.
The caption was the most troubling part of the Instagram post. According to fans, the original caption read, "Learning from the Master…………..lol. #art #equals #freedom", which has since been changed to "learning.........lol. #art #equals #freedom"
It didn't take long for the Beehive to come after Madonna for her controversial caption. Fans are really upset that Madonna, who's Caucasian, would call herself the "master" to Beyonce and Jay-Z, two super successful Black artists. Now the photo is filled with comments accusing Madonna of being a racist.
It's clear that Beyonce's fans will no longer be listening to any of Madonna's music. Even if the whole thing was supposed to be an innocent joke, it seems to be really insensitive.
