As you definitely know by now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are happily engaged! The two revealed their news to the public yesterday, after a statement from the Royal Family was released. Meghan and Harry posed for photographs outside Buckingham Palace and completed a formal interview, where they answered questions about their relationship and its history.
Harry proposed with a repurposed ring, the diamonds were in fact stones that used to sit in his mother's broach. He admits he proposed all but a couple of weeks ago, early this November, at their shared Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace. Meghan reveals the two were having a "standard, typical cozy night, roasting a chicken," to which Harry corrected - "trying to roast a chicken," when he got down on one knee.
Meghan called the proposal, "so sweet and natural and very romantic." Meghan admits that she hardly let Harry finish proposing before asking if she could say yes. Harry admits that he fell in Meghan "so incredibly quickly" saying that they are a "fantastic team." When asked what Harry's late mother Diana would think of Meghan and their engagement, Harry says that Diana would have been "over the moon" and that the two girls would be "the best of friends."
