Last week, MTV star Farrah Abraham publically called out MTV for unfairly firing her from the hit series, "Teen Mom OG". She announced that she was suing MTV, Viacom and Teen Mom creator, Morgan J. Freeman for $5 million dollars.
Since the beginning of this season, promos have been teasing the career-ending "meeting" that Abraham has with the show's creator, Freeman. Although we've seen clips from their conversation, we'll have to wait until next week's episode to see the entire thing - but we do now know that Abraham has officially been fired from the long-running tv series.
We officially have the news on who will be replacing Abraham on the show. Mackenzie McKee from "Teen Mom 3" will be the new mommy added to the series.
If you remember, McKee was on the third instalment of the series back in 2013 for only a short four-month run. Even though the show was only aired for one season, McKee quickly became a fan favourite.
After disappearing from the spotlight, fans begged MTV to bring McKee back. Clearly, fans had a soft spot for the Teen Mom. Teen Mom producers recently pitched McKee on the idea of joining the Teen Mom OG cast. They were already in the process of shooting a two-hour MTV special with McKee about her life and her mom's battle with cancer at the time when she agreed to sign onto the series.
McKee has officially agreed to step in for Abraham. The new Teen Mom has been filming for over a week now.
