People Think That They’ve Found Keke From Drake's "In My Feelings" And She's Canadian
It looks like his Toronto girlfriend still has Drake wrapped around her finger.
Even though the "In My Feelings" challenge, also known as the Shiggy Dance, has been all anyone can talk about online, it's now stirring up a new conversation. Tons of people online are trying to figure out who "Keke" is and they think they've figured it out.
Many people have come to the conclusion that Canadian musician and TV host, Keisha Chante is the true identity of "Keke." Apparently, the pair dated back when Drake was playing Jimmy on Degrassi in Toronto.
The Ottawa born singer is basically Canadian royalty and opened for Destiny's Child back in 2005 when she was only 17 years old.
Chante and Drake were growing up in Toronto at the same time and were dating throughout their teenage years. Drake mentions Keke on "In My Feelings", "Fallen" and "Deceiving", so apparently, Chante left her mark on the rapper's heart.
Drake even revealed when Chante interviewed him on 106 & Park that she was one of his first crushes and that he rapped about her in the past.
The Toronto rapper is referring to two songs that he sang about Chante, both in 2009 and 2014. Drake talked about their relationship on a remix of Chante's song "Fallen" on his "Born Successful" mixtape, plus the song "Madonna" from "If You're Reading This, It's Too Late" is dedicated to the singer.
Fans were all over the connection and it's safe to say that there is a mixed reaction to the news. Some people think it's adorable that Drake is still hung up on his first love, others think that it's a little sad.

Keisha Chante was actually engaged but called off her wedding toShe accused Emery of assault over multiple months of 2016. News broke that earlier this morning Emery's body was found in a lake in Ontario.
One thing is for sure, we can't wait to see what Chante says about her connection to Drake. Maybe it's time for these young lovers to give their relationship one more chance.
