Siblings are good for a lot of things: They're an instant friend, someone to lean on, and usually have a closet full of clothes you can steal when they're not looking.
But there's one thing every sibling has in common that drives their brothers and sisters up a wall: stealing food. And Prince William knows it.
On the first day of his two-day visit to Finland on Wednesday, William was asked by reporters about Prince Harry‘s engagement.
“We’re very excited, delighted for them both. We’re wishing them all the happiness in this very exciting time,” he said, adding: “Personally, I hope it means he stays out of my fridge and will stop scrounging my food, which he’s done for the last few years!”
We can all relate to that.
Luckily, Meghan is a self-proclaimed foodie, so there's no doubt that her and Prince Harry's cottage fridge will stay fully stocked at all times. In fact, she's even been spotted walking around her fiance's neighbourhood in Kensington, carrying Whole Foods shopping bags.
And let's not forget Harry proposed while Meghan was cooking a roast chicken. So instead of Harry scrounging through his brother and sister-in-law's fridge for food, they can all sit down to home-cooked meals at Harry and Meghan's - especially since the newly engaged couple will now be only a couple of doors down from Will and Kate.
Kensington Palace officially announced on Monday that the couple of more than a year got engaged earlier this month. It was also revealed that their wedding will take place in May 2018 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. And considering Kate Middleton is due to welcome her third child just one month before, this will definitely be a time for double the celebration.
