Yesterday, Cole Sprouse coyly answered a rather uncomfortable question at the PaleyFest LA cast panel event for their show, Riverdale. It's not the first time that Cole has been asked about his love life, but the fact that it was live and in front of an audience makes it that much more awkward.

Ever since Cole and Lili's characters started dating on Riverdale, people have been shipping the actors. It also didn't help that last summer they were seen kissing and holding hands after Comic-Con - but they've remained quiet on the status of their relationship.

Cole, Lili, KJ and the rest of the cast were on stage doing their panel, answering questions when a brave young fan asked him a super invasive question. She began her question by saying, "So Cole and Lili, there have been a lot of rumours that you guys are dating. Are you dating?" to which Sprouse responded in the worst way ever.

Very cryptically, he responded with, "Was that a question or a statement, because you're right." Right about what?! Right about them dating, or right that there are a lot of rumours going around about them dating.

After she repeated her question for a second time. "Are you dating?!" He leaned over super dramatically and pulled his microphone right up to his mouth and in a very sultry voice said, "No Comment." But that's not all. As soon as the words slipped out of his mouth, a huge smile crept onto his face.

The audience erupted into fits of laughter as Cole gave them his million dollar smile. What was that smile for, Cole? Fans couldn't help but assume the actor was playing coy once again about his relationship with costar, Lili Reinhart.

Here's a video of the entire exchange.

This is just another reason for us to believe that Cole and Lili are definitely dating on down low and we will just have to keep waiting until they officially confirm it.
