Reality stars Jenelle Evans and David Eason are no strangers to controversy. The latest one to hit this pair? Former Teen Mom 2 stars Jenelle Evans and David Eason lost custody of their 3 children according to reports. A judge made the decision today in a North Carolina court.
According to Radar Online, the North Carolina judge told Evans that she “failed to protect the children while they were in her care". The reality TV star was reportedly "sobbing in court".
Now, their kids will be under the custody of other family members who are more fit to take care of Evans' children. Ensley, who is the 2-year-old daughter of Evans and Eason, will reportedly be taken care of by Evans' mother, Barbara. Evans' 9-year-old son, Jace, has already been under the care of Barbara for the majority of his life.
Evans' other 4-year-old son, Kaiser, will live with his father and her ex-boyfriend, Nathan Griffith.
In response to the incident, Jenelle Evans' manager Johnny Donovan spoke with Us Weekly. "At this time we are cooperating with the judge and legal team from court," he said. "We have no comment at this time and we appreciate the concerns regarding our client and her children. We will continue to cooperate with the court and their decisions.”
“Jenelle believed that her lawyer was going to be able to get her children back and she seemed stunned when this happened,” an inside source told Radar Online.
Jenelle Evans has definitely had an eventful, controversial few weeks. Earlier in May, news broke that Evans' husband, David Eason, reportedly shot and killed their dog for "nipping" at their daughter, Ensley. Shortly after, she was fired from Teen Mom 2 and replaced by Jade Cline.
