The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show After-Party Got Shut Down Thanks To These Nearly-Naked Dresses
Shanghai truly does not play.
It's no secret (sorry Victoria) that this year's VS Fashion Show was a bit of a royal flop. Shanghai denied visas to both headliner Katy Perry and star model, Gigi Hadid, leaving the show with little-to-no spark or pizzazz. While Harry Styles filled in for Katy and show execs brought back former angel Karlie Kloss, the show still lacked its usual lustre with little to no excitement.
The most interesting aspects of the show seemed to happen before it aired, mainly the refusal of Gigi and Katy into the country. The only shocking aspect of the show this year was Ming Xi's quick runway stumble, only to have her regain her poise.
The after-party however was a whole different scene, as models graced the event in nearly naked dresses. Reports claim that Chinese officials pulled the plug on the party way before it was expected to end and sent armed officials in to escort guests out. Yikes...but at least the dresses were glam! Let's take a look at the gowns that shut down Shanghai.
Model Samile B (far right) dazzled in this sheer black number.
Sara Sampio left little to the imagination in this cut-out number.
Bella Hadid stunned in this super sexy red outfit.
Taylor Hill wasn't shy about flashing her undies in this silver/mesh/nude dress.
Stella Maxwell didn't fear the sheer, but made sure she covered her pelvis, just to rid any wardrobe malfunctions.
Georgia Fowler stunned in this barely-there silver statement.
Dev Windsor let her cutouts do the talking for her in this detailed dress.
Jas Tookes looked heavenly in this incredible burgundy dress.
