If you told me yesterday that a video of celebs playing video games would be going viral, I probably wouldn't have believed you. But alas, it's true! Celebs playing video games and recording themselves is a huge phenomenon. Our favourite rapper from the 416 is the latest celeb trending for filming himself while playing video games online.
Last night the internet blew up after Drake, Travis Scott and NFL wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster joined a famous internet personality for a quick game of Fortnite on Twitch. Basically, Twitch is an online platform that's dedicated to live-streaming videos of people playing video games - And it just so happens that all of these celebs decided to play together and break the internet simultaneously.
The video is actually pretty entertaining. We didn't realize that watching other people play video games could actually be fun ... until now. Here's the direct link to watch the live stream. The entire game sesh is just over 50 minutes long.
The game begins with the Tyler "Ninja" Blevins who's famous for gaming online. After the 2-minute mark, Drake joins the game using the name TheBoyDuddus. Later on, Travis Scott joins under the name Cactus_Jackk92. JuJu Smith-Schuster joins in later as well.
During the stream, you can hear Tyler tell Drake that "Every time you make a kill, the entire chat is saying it's God's Plan" to which you can hear Drake laughing. Drake also admits that he's been playing Fortnite while he takes breaks from recording his new album.
Even though Drake has his cameras off, you definitely know when he's talking. You can't mistake that voice for anyone else.
