Anyone who's part of Bachelor Nation knows that Becca's season premiered last night, and there was definitely a lot for fans to take in. Fans of the show are already obsessing over certain contestants, and hating on others!
Before the season even started, Becca announced that she is engaged after her season, and of course, Bachelor Nation just had to find out who the lucky guy is! There's been plenty of speculation, but a lot of signs are pointing towards Garrett Yrigoyen.
A lot of people were pretty pleased with this outcome, and I personally don't blame them. Garrett is super cute, and after seeing that he got Becca's first impression rose last night, she obviously sees something in him!
Unfortunately though, stories have been emerging online reporting that Garrett is guilty of liking posts on social media that send out racist, sexist, transphobic, xenophobic, and other bigoted messages.
Since the reports were released, Garrett deleted his original Instagram, @garrett_yrigs12, and replaced it with a new account @garrett.yrigoyen.
Fans are not the only one's upset with these racist likes though. Former Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey took to Twitter to share her opinion as well:
Can we do a better job of social media deep dives on the dudes that try out for #thebachelorette - FYI douchebags we can see your likes.— Ashley Spivey (@AshleySpivey) May 24, 2018
With all of this drama unfolding after just the first episode, this is definitely sure to be a drama-filled season! We can't wait to see what happens over the next few weeks.
