While on Watch What Happens Live last week, Tyra Banks was shocked to learn that a former America's Next Top Model contestant shaded her while she was on the famous show. Banks was interviewed by Andy Cohen when she was asked by a fan about Canadian model, Winnie Harlow's controversial comments about herself and her famous reality tv show.
If you grew up in the early 2000s in North America, then you probably grew up on Poptarts and America's Next Top Model. ANTM was the television anthem for many millennials, making Tyra Banks a national treasure for most. Let's also not forget about the time when Banks had her own show which is basically the best talk show on television.
During the segment with Andy Cohen, a fan called in and asked Banks about Harlow's comments. To our surprise, Banks had no idea that Harlow ever made those comments.
Harlow previously stated on Cohen's show that she believed that "America's Next Top Model does nothing for any model's career and it's nothing but a reality television show."
Banks didn't waste any time getting to the point. She slyly asked, "Did she say that?" Only to follow up with the fact that Banks herself had been the one to discover Harlow on Instagram, seemingly before she became the uber famous supermodel she is today.
