Stop what you're doing. Alexis Bledel, a.k.a. Lena Kaligaris, just revealed that a third "The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants" is in the works. This is the most excited we've been since the sequel came out in 2008.
Alexis was a guest on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" last night. She told the audience that she and her "Sisterhood" co-stars loved filming the first two movies so much, they decided to get together and pitch the idea for a third.
Amber Tamblyn, who played Tibby, even shared a throwback of the four co-stars last week on America Ferrera's birthday, along with a super sentimental caption. Clearly, they're just as tight in real life as they are in the films.
I may not know how to draw hearts and Blake may not know how to chill in a photo booth and Alexis may think we’re nuts but we know a damn good friend and that’s @AmericaFerrera . Happy bday, girl. We can’t wait for us to have a baby together. #SorryRyan #Sisters #ButAlsoFathers pic.twitter.com/2NcVtrbwN9— Amber Tamblyn (@ambertamblyn) April 18, 2018
But, Alexis admitted that the four of them are so busy with their own lives that they rarely have time to see each other. "We don't see each other a lot because of everybody's work and family and everything," she said, "But when everyone's in town we do."
Blake Lively knows how happy the "Sisterhood" fans of the world would be about a third film. She said in an interview, "I think that people who love the movie want to see it. So, I mean, fans have gotten bigger movies made. 'Deadpool' is all thanks to the fans. So I'm saying we'll do it." She said she thinks it could "really happen." We hope so!
