This probably isn't the best way to get attention. Travis Scott made headlines the other day when it looked like he got caught cheating on girlfriend Kylie Jenner. The world was mad at him for a second, but he was quick to deny all of the rumours as he said "trolls are working hard today". Well, it came out late last night that the whole thing was a prank, and no one from the Kardashian-Jenner side is happy.
On December 5th, just a couple of days after the photos came out of 'Travis' cheating, a YouTuber named ChristianAdamG posted a video titled, "We Fooled the Internet w/ Fake Travis Scott Cheating Photo". Not sure what the trend is with tricking the internet into thinking celebrities are doing things (aka Justin Bieber eating a burrito wrong), but this one just isn't cool.
The 17 minute long video goes into detail about how they should mess with Kylie and Travis. Kim Kardashian had a chance to respond before her sister Kylie, and here is what she said:
I hate that I am bringing attention to this but this is absolutely disgusting that you would find this funny to mess with Travis & Kylie who just started a family together. This is really damaging to relationships, families and is just so wrong! pic.twitter.com/KtodBpmiHR— Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) December 6, 2018
Here is the photo of fake Travis pretending to cheat on Kylie, as well as his comments:
In a since deleted Instagram story, Kylie Jenner defends her relationship and even defends her strong relationship with Travis. She goes into detail about it, and says the internet really scares her. You can read it below:
After a ton of backlash in the comments, YouTuber and creator of the video ChristianAdamG pinned a comment that says, "(DISCLAIMER: this video was NOT made to intentionally hurt Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner or any of the entire Kardashian family in ANY way shape or form) Travis Scott is NOT actually a cheater....... so now that's out of the way... Gotcha' internet!"
Gotcha internet seems a little messed up when they could've broken up over these cheating rumours. But hey, they may or may not have just gotten engaged. So it will probably take a little more then just a fake photo to break them apart. You can watch the prank below:
