We love a heartwarming story about celebs giving back. So, we couldn't help but smile when we heard that some Californians are getting the help they need. Kristen Bell and Dax Shephard waived rent for their LA tenants next month.

While this is great news, we have just one question. Did anyone else know they were landlords?

According to TMZ, the A-list couple owns at least two properties in Los Angeles.

They decided to forgo April's rent, as many Californians have lost their jobs due to the 'stay at home' social distancing order.

A manager (aka Dax's sister) at Pringus Property LLC emailed all the tenants to share the good news.

An inside source told TMZ that the message was filled with encouragement and understanding of the tenant's situation.

Earlier this week, Kristen also shared some pretty adorable photos of her kids donating their piggybank funds to help fight the Coronavirus.

On Wednesday, she took to Instagram to show the family's donation to the charity, No Kid Hungry. The Bell family gave $150,007.96 away - with the $7.96 contribution from her daughters, ages 6 and 5.

"NKH has always been there for kids who need them. They work tirelessly to provide food for the hungry bellies all over this country. I encourage anyone with the means to share to donate as well, any amount helps, so we can get through this together," she said.

"When my kids overheard me making the donation, they asked if they could also donate the money from their piggy bank. I couldn't have been prouder to add that extra, and important 7 dollars and 96 cents."

When it comes to giving back, other landlords across the state are giving their residents a helping hand too.

Two major landlords including Essex Property Trust with 23,000 rental units in Southern California and the Irvine Co. have offered the option for rental assistance and deferment.
