A couple of major A-list celebs skipped out on one of the most famous awards ceremonies yesterday. One of them is none other than one of our favorite singers. Selena Gomez went to a 90s themed birthday party last night for the ultimate GNO.
Her look is giving us some serious Clueless vibes. Just take a look at the outfits!
The 27-year-old singer decided to skip the awards ceremony for her BFF Julia Michael’s bash in Los Angeles. They have been friends for several years now, and Julia has even written some of Gomez's top hit songs, including "Bad Liar" and "Slow Down."
According to PopSugar, Julia's actual birthday is November 13th. But why not celebrate a little early?
Everything was decked out in 90s prom theme and guests wore some super nostalgic throwback outfits. There was even an ocean-themed backdrop for taking Instagrammable pics.
From the looks of the guest's photos, it seems like the party was a total hit. Who doesn't want to time travel back to a 90s prom?
You’ve got to see the pics. They look like something straight out of your favorite 90s cult classic movie.
Selena wore her hair up in a messy bun and dazzled in a black slip dress with a choker and chunky boots. Have you seen her IG story?
Julia wore a red babydoll dress and cute matching gloves. Everyone's outfit was on point.
But Selena’s makeup is what we’re loving the most. Her pink eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, and frosty lips are serious makeup goals.
Selena posted some super-cute Instagram story pics with the caption “90s night.” In the first pic, she took a selfie of her makeup and then reposted a girl's gang pic of their looks.
Fans found pics from the 90s themed birthday bash and posted them on Twitter. The pics are adorable.
Other celebs who attended Michael’s party include Shawn Mendes and his girlfriend, American-Cuban singer-songwriter, Camila Cabello.
Selena’s also been trending in the news today for her supportive comment on Jennifer Aniston’s makeup-less Instagram selfie. She posted her support for Aniston with the comment “Queen” and the comment is going viral.
